I would like to recommend this book.
But before that, I would like to say a big thank you to you for reading this post, and my blog in general. Any and all people that have either stumbled on it, or been subject to my less-than-awesome self-promotion of it on various social media platforms: I thank you for taking the time to read it. I’ve had some really awesome comments about my posts and that makes me feel very happy…thank you in abundance!
Back to the book…It’s called ‘Steal Like an Artist’ and it looks like this: (see above picture).
It’s a book that offers several (it’s say 10, but the book provides so many tips) ideas and concepts about how to keep your inner and outer artist thriving, wherever you are in your career, life, path to epiphany.
I (also) like that the author’s name is Austin and he lives in Austin.
I would definitely reccomend this book. It’s unpretentious. It doesn’t have any of the generic “life-coachy” dialogue. It’s down to earth. It’s honest. It’s refreshing. And It’s funny. It’s paints a reassuring picture for artists of all kinds. And it’s £7 in Urban Outfitters, and just a bit more than that on Amazon, the link to which I have provided HERE!
It’s the kind of book where you could just read one page (which is perfect for someone with an attention span like mine) or you could read a good few ‘chapters.’
And there it is! So, steal like an artist. But don’t steal the book.
